Following a trend of beefed-up activity menus that resorts are deploying to distinguish themselves, the latest romantic offerings from Hawaii properties focus on shared experiences with special twists.
For Valentine’s Day, or any romantic occasion, here are a few new packages and experiences that will bring any couple closer together through shared activities.
Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach kicked off 2020 with the release of its latest couples package. “Unforgettable, Soulful Hawaii” includes a car rental for a day with a suggested self-guided tour from Oahu’s southern coast to the North Shore, with stops at Makapuu Lighthouse, Byodo-In Temple and Gunstock Ranch, where the smitten duo can plant a native Hawaiian tree. The package includes dinner at Morimoto Asia (save room for the flaming chocolate sphere), a private poolside cabana for a day, and daily breakfast and happy hour at the ‘Alohilani’s exclusive Longboard Club. The package starts at $3,040 per couple with a four-night minimum stay in a premier oceanfront room.
